A Mind Is A Beautiful Thing To Waste
Maybe if more people had paid attention to Scarlett O' Hara in Gone with the Wind and not exhausted so much time complaining about the evils of slavery they would see the wisdom in rolling up your sleeves and getting down to work. Scarlett never ever ever would be caught complaining about her life on CNN. She'd be too busy doing something about it herself.

Chris Cortez is okay
A couple of Chris' friends have emailed me to ask about him. He and Melody rode out the storm at their house in Slidell which apparently didn't sustain too much damage.
I'm completely with you. In fact, I'm currently composing my own rant on the subject, which will be on my blog by the end of the day. (I'm much angrier than I thought I'd be!)
